Hurrah for my new blog. After a bit of a tootle around the internet whilst on company time, I've discovered the wonderful world of blogging. I thought I'd join in.
I am currently sitting at my desk in work killing time before my compulsory afternoon of Manual Handling Training (yaaaawn!) I'm good at killing time. As far as time at work is concerned, I am something of a Big Game Hunter. Yet those in power seem remarkably pleased with me for some unknown reason.
I'm contemplating buying some new trousers; my current favourite work pair are now too large for me given a recent loss of a stone in weight and are now threatening to slide down my arse. Even the belt isn't helping. I hope I don't moon anyone whilst Lifting A Box Properly this afternoon.
I made an effort today; rather than just avoiding looking in the mirror until after my mid-morning break, I got up 10 minutes earlier than usual to put on foundation, powder and mascara. Said powder has vanished, the foundation has sunk greasily into my pores and is failing to hide the large greyish circles under my eyes. I look like a heroin addict in false eyelashes. I had to get up earlier to do this as I am not a morning person and my morning routine is pared down to the minimum in order to spend the maximum amount of time unconscious. Perhaps that should have been vampire rather than heroin addict.
